Long time...I know.  Life is going well in Petersburg.  It is busy right now with work, summer is not the time to play here in petersburg it is time to work like little ants for the winter time.  Will is busy with his job but it is not as bad as I anticipated.  He usually is home by 6 pm for dinner and gets to stay home.  He does get several phone calls on his business cell but that's better than him having to stay down at the plant to listen for the sat phone to go off.  Technology can be a pain in the rear end but for us this summer and for Wills job it is a blessing.

I am busy with my job at Tonka, but it is fun and there are a few perks with working there.  I get free fish and I have a guy from one of the lodges that bring their clients to us to process their fish buy us all Mocha's every Friday.  It's great.  Plus I have met so many different people who are dumber than me when it comes to talking about fish and Alaska.  Sometimes I need a little ego boost and it usually comes in the form of stupid tourist questions.

My folks came up and visited for a little over 2 weeks.  It was yucky weather for them for most of the time but we were blessed with a few days over the 4th of July that was awesomely beautiful.  My dad caught lots of King Salmon but we were skunked when we went out for Halibut.  So I guess i will have to try to get some for them later on this fall.

The boys are doing great.  Billy and Brandon had reading at school for three weeks.  And now Billy is looking forward to SAY Camp coming up in a couple of weeks.  He gets to go for the first time without Mom or Dad or any of his brothers.  I am nervous about it but I know he will have fun and I know that Rhonda will do a good job with the kids.  Adam finally learned how to ride his bike on his own.  And Brandon and his cousin Cina have their own little "club".

We also have VBS this past week.  I volunteered to do crafts.  Tell you what it has been a while since all I had to do was one thing in VBS but it was fun and Joel and Rhonda did a good job.  Okay, Joel did pull a few "Douglases" (he knows what I mean) and that was fun to tease him over.  But overall it was a good program.

I have to do an aunty brag a little bit.  Veronica and Ginny got jobs with Will at Norquest this summer.  Ronnie is working for Will on the dock and Ginny is in the egg room (Caviar room).  Well Ginny works from 8am to midnight 7 days a week pretty much.  She has impressed the bosses so much that they gave her a raise and made her Brine Lead.  And she's only 16!   She's going to score by the end of the summer and be able to buy herself a car!! Woot, woot!!!!!!!

Well I'd better get going.  God Bless and have a wonderful Sunday of worship.

Yesterday my baby turned 5!  It is amazing to think that five years ago he was 3 lbs, attached to monitors, IV's, and all kinds of medical equiptment and we were praying that the Lord would give him strength to live.  And now we are blessed with a smart, active, very independent, daredevil of a boy.  He is such a blessing and I know that God has great plans for my boy who is not afraid of anything.  Happy Birthday Adam Richard Charles Ware!

Yeah!!!!  It's sunny today and it's my day off!  The boys have baseball today, I'm looking forward to their games.  The only problem is that their games are going on at the same time so Will gets to be at one and I get to be at the other one.  Fortunatly Brandons will only last about 45 minutes (T ball) and so then we can go over and watch Billy's game.  Yesterday Billy and Will were out throwing the ball around and I just couldn't believe how well Billy can throw.   He is dead on with his accuaracy and he can chuck that ball fast.  It actually hurt Wills hand, he threw it so hard.  The league that Billy is in starts the year off with a pitching machine and then goes into teaching the kids to pitch, I think that Billy may be able to pitch.  We were pretty impressed with him.

Not much else is going on.  Will is busy with work, though he has come home earlier than me the last couple of days, that was nice.  He got our nieces jobs at Norquest.  I know he did it so he could keep an eye on them.  All the guys know around that place that know that you don't make eye contact or even look at the Ware girls or Will will be all over them.  It's kind of funny.  I'm not sure if the girls see it that way but I do.

Have a great weekend and a blessed worship on Sunday.

Busy, busy, busy...but in a very different way.  Over the last month I have turned down 6 jobs.  We were really trying hard to decide if I was going to get an outside the home job or would I start a day care, or another options was cleaning houses for people.  Well I really prayed about it and felt that if I was going to get a job outside the home it would have to pay really well and work with my schedule.  So 6 jobs come and go but one pressed hard and in the end our nagotiations were successful,  apparantly they really wanted me and I took the job as retail manager at Tonka Seafoods, a small and locally owned, but sucessful custom seafood processor here in town.  Kind of funny both Will and I are now coming home smelling like fish, him more than me.  I get to work Monday - Friday 8am-5pm with an hour lunch.  My weekends and evenings are free, which is great because I won't miss too many of the boy's baseball games.  And one of the best things about this job is that I get all of December and January off.  We are completely closed those 2 months!  I won't know what to do with myself, both Will and I will be home!  We get to help with the Corps Christmas effort and we can actually go on vacation if we want too!  Yipee!!!!!!!!!!

I just thought that the retail manager ran the store (tourist shop) but I get to take care of the out of town orders and packaging and all kinds of stuff.  It is turning out to be a lot of fun.  I am learning alot about fish, and I am surprised at how much I actually know.  I think this job will be fun, busy right now and all through the summer but lots of fun.

The boys are doing great!  School ended today and they are ready to celebrate.  Brandon was a little sad, he loves school and he loves his teacher.  He said to me last night "it seems like a week ago that I started Kindergarten, but I learned so much, like reading and writing and math".  He had an awesome year and like always his grades were perfect.  He has turned into quite the little reader.  Also his picture he colored for Little Norway was entered in a comptition, all the kids enter one, and he won for his age group!  And he actally grew 3 inches this year too.  He is so tall, it's scary.  Where do my kids get their height?

Billy did really well.  His benchmark test, 3 graders take, came out really well.  He is reading at a 6th grade level, which is amazing because when he entered 3rd grade he was reading at a 2.5 grade reading level.  His kindergarten teacher always told us that when he was ready to read it would just take off and it did.  His writing is right where it is suppose to be, I think that it would be better but he just doesn't put as much effort into it as he could and his math is okay.  He struggles a little with math, but then so did I.  I know that he will do well with it, he's just going to have to work a little bit harder than everyone else.  He is turning into quite the athlete, his teacher actually commented on that on his report card.  His wrestling coach and baseball coach push him pretty hard but they say it's because he's really good and they don't want him to slack and just be complacent with what he's doing they want him to keep striving to be better and better.  We are pretty proud of the kid.

Adam is Adam, growing, playing and tanning up whenever the sun is out.  He will be 5 in 2 weeks!  I can't believe it!  My baby!  He loves to ride his bike, only with trainging wheels, he told me he wasn't ready for them to come off yet so we didn't push it.

Well thats whats going on right now in our lives.  I'll try to keep up to date a little bit more.

God Bless

Okay, so moves came out today and people are probably wondering where are the Ware's?  Well, as some of you know, but maybe some don't, we have stepped out for a while.  Lots of reasons but know that we have taken this to the Lord and He has given us a direction to go and I know that we are in His hands.  We are excited to know that Joel and Rhonda Saunders  j/k... The Harmon's will be staying put here to continue on.  We will be supporting them and lifting them up in our prayers and when adjustment time has happened we will be there at the Corps to help in whatever way they need.  God has great plans for the Petersburg Corps under their leadership.

Will has found a job at Norquest Seafood Processor as the fleet manager, he coordinates the fishermen and when they bring their fish into town.  It's something that he is familiar with, the fishing industry, but at least he will not be gone all the time.

I am not sure what I am going to do but be mom for right now.  I am keeping my options open but I have really enjoyed being able to spend time at home with the boys.  We will see what the Lord has in store for me.

Please keep us in your prayers.  We know that people won't understand why we made this decision but we do know that it is what we need right now.  I will continue to update and let you know how the Ware household is.  God bless.
